I have read hundreds of books in my life and I can safely say this is the worse book I have ever read.
The book claims to show that cultures around the world and across time have worshiped the Pleiades and believed that gods and men came from there to teach humanity their wisdom. It does neither.
The book takes a broad look at Egyptian, Sumerian, Greek, Asian, Indian and Amerindian cultures and basically shows that they all had only a passing interest in the Pleiades. It was just another minor constellation.
And as far as visitors from the Pleiades, the book defines the term Pleiadian and that is the last we hear of it.
So what does the book contain? Page after page of mythos name dropping. This culture worshiped this god who had a daughter who was similar to the daughter of this other god from this other culture who also had an aunt who knitted sweaters from garbage. On and on with no point being made, no argument being defended and no reference to the Pleiades.
The "Look Inside" preview gives only shows the introduction which promises how exciting the book will be and begins the Astronomical definition of the Pleiades. It is the only readable portion of the book and tells you nothing a quick Wiki search wouldn't. It is significant that no other section of the book was sampled. That would scare you off.
References in the book include Wikipedia, the works of Theosophy, The Watchtower and The Book of Mormon (all of which were in the section "The Pleiades in the Bible")
I borrowed this book as an Prime member. I am glad that I didn't waste any money on it but wish I could get my credit back so I could borrow a real book for this month. I would also like my four hours back.
If you want to learn about mysteries and the alternative histories of ancient cultures, start with the well researched books of Joseph Farrell and then follow with his bibliographies.
Awesome book he did a ton of resrarch. Can expand ones consciousness if you are not closed minded. Turn off the tv....
